Hexagon head screws of the DIN 933, also known as machine screws, have a head in the form of a hexagon, which serves as a drive. They are moved with an open-end wrench or ring spanner. The thread (ISO standard thread DIN 13-1) of these screws extends to the head.
Hexagon head screws can be used to make permanent screw connections quickly and inexpensively. They are used in mechanical and plant engineering, vehicle construction, in measurement and electrical engineering, in the interior and exterior of houses, in the garden or in the hobby area.
Depending on the requirements, hexagon head screws are available in different dimensions and material designs. Hexagon head screws used in outdoor applications should be at least A2 material we offer.
The advantage of screws with external hexagon is that they can also be used where the screw head is no longer accessible from above. The screw length is always measured without the head.
